Description

NAMI Family-to-Family and NAMI Support Groups have long been cornerstones of NAMI's education and support offerings — trusted by affiliates and valued by the families and leaders they serve. As both programs move into their next iteration, this session gives Program Directors and Coordinators a first look at what's changing and why.  Attendees will learn about specific updates to program content, structure, and materials for both NAMI Family-to-Family and NAMI Support Group Leader Training, along with the rationale behind each change — whether driven by participant feedback, updated research, delivery format needs, or lessons learned from the field. The session will also cover what these changes mean in practice for affiliates: implementation timelines, training and onboarding support, and how existing facilitators and leaders will be supported through the transition.  This is a working session, not just a preview — time will be built in for Q&A so Program Directors and Coordinators can raise questions specific to their affiliates and get clarity ahead of rollout.
